We make keeping in touch free & easy - complimentary wireless internet is available in all guests rooms, the lounge and dining room at Wanaka Springs Lodge. There is also a Guest Office at the Lodge available for the exclusive use of our guests, which is equipped with a computer, a printer/fax/copier and a telephone.

Spa Pool

Relax & Rejuvinate - in a secluded and quiet corner of our garden you will find our 8 seater Spa Pool.  Unwind with a glass of wine, reflect on the day just completed, enjoy the stunning mountain views or maybe the spectacularly clear southern night sky - can you find the Southern Cross, it will be there!

In the morning, our generous cooked and continental breakfasts will set you up for the day ahead. Enjoy our homemade muesli and yoghurt, local fruits and free range eggs, and only in New Zealand - manuka dry cured bacon.  Discover our honey wall with more than fifty different types of New Zealand honey for you to choose from!

There are no parking hassles here - just drive in where there is off street parking space for everyone.

Laundry? Ironing? - no problem!  Yes, even on holiday there are domestic chores that need to be done.  But no problem at Wanaka Springs Lodge!  We have laundry facilities for you to use or we can do it for you (charges apply).

Mountain Bikes

There are over 200kms of bike tracks around the Lake Wanaka region - but you don't have to do all of them!  Grab our mountain bikes and experience some of them.

Ski Storage & Drying Room

Your ski boots and clothing will always be toasty warm & dry at Wanaka Springs Lodge.  Our large indoor drying room and ski storage will ensure you start your day on the ski slopes warm and comfortable.

Guest Lounge

Yes, a real fire! Take some time out in our cozy and peaceful guest lounge. Curl up on one of our big fat sofas with that good book in front of our blazing log fire and relax! This can be what holidays are all about.  There is also a CD and DVD collection featuring acclaimed New Zealand music and films.

Tea & Coffee

Here is an opportunity to discover the real flavour of New Zealand - Lyn's home baking!  Enjoy some favourites that we have all grown up with, such as Anzac or Hokey Pokey biscuits, maybe Lolly Cake or Citrus Slice, or Pikelets with raspberry jam & whipped cream!  Complimentary tea, coffee, chocolate, juices and home baking are available 24 hours a day on a self serve basis.

Library

We live in a stunning environment formed by nature's awesome forces - and you can learn more about it if you wish.  Our excellent collection of reference and coffee table books include subjects that detail how our landscape was formed.  Learn more about New Zealand's history, geography, geology, culture, nature and birdlife.  There is not much about mammals because prior to man's arrival, the only mammals in NZ were two varieties of bat. There are also a variety of New Zealand general interest magazines and a book exchange service.

Landscaped Gardens

Wanaka has arguably New Zealand's best summer climate (Kiwis holiday here!) - and you too can enjoy it, lazing away in our large landscaped gardens.  Outdoor furniture, large deck areas, quiet corners in the garden and magnificent views are all here to be enjoyed.

Smoking

Sorry ..... for the benefit of all of our guests, smoking is not permited inside the Lodge.  If you would like to smoke, we ask that you do so outside the building.  Ashtrays are available.

And finally.... yes, we have a recycling centre on site.  We are naturally motivated to care for our environment and to operate a sustainable bed and breakfast accommodation business that treasures the stunning natural environment we live in at Lake Wanaka.
