100 grams melted butter
250 grams (1 packet) malt biscuits, crushed
Half a tin (200 grams) sweetened condensed milk
1 packet (160 grams) fruit puffs, roughly chopped
Mix together the butter, the crushed biscuits, the condensed milk and the fruit puffs.
Either, press in to a tin and sprinkle with coconut. Refrigerate until firm and then cut in to squares.
Or, shape in to a log and roll in coconut. Refrigerate until firm and then cut in to slices.
This is a very pleasant small Lodge in a residential area of Wanaka. It is about a 5 minute walk to the lake front. The rooms are spacious enough, clean and comfortable, without being luxurious. The hosts are also very pleasant. Recommended.
