We look forward to the opportunity of hosting you at Wanaka Springs Lodge and we would be delighted to assist in making your holiday in Wanaka and in the South Island of New Zealand the best it can be.
You may well be wondering as to the origin of the name Wanaka. The name Wanaka according to folk lore is a corruption of Oanaka, which means “place of Anaka”, Anaka being the name of an early Maori chief of this district.
The crystal clear waters of our lakes and rivers, the fresh mountain air, the stunning alpine views at each turn – as a community we’re passionate about the spectacular place we live in. We are committed to preserving its unspoiled and vibrant beauty for generations to come so they too have the freedom to explore, just as you do.
Wanaka – New Zealand's fourth largest lake - a beautiful lake in an awesome alpine setting. Laze away on the shore, or fill the day with adventure activities. Magnificent views wherever you look! Wit
Our aim is to also help you fall in love with this beautiful country, it's heritage and people. What better place for this to happen than breath-taking Wanaka.
The lodge is now self check-in. Earliest check in time is 2.00pm and check-out is by 10.00am.
We look forward to meeting you!
